Some idiots just ran down the hall for the second time in the last half hour. Of course they couldn't just run; they had a massive pine branch and smacked it against all the doors while yelling. They even threw a fire extinguisher against the RA's door.

I was sleeping, damnit! Yes, I am turning into a little old lady, but jeez! Was the hunk of tree really necessary?

I think Sorkin has a thing for Gilbert and Sullivan.

Ann Richards is dead.

She was a charismatic and fascinating lady. The country has lost a trail-blazing, smart-as-a-whip, and dedicated public servant. I'm truly sad to hear of her passing.

John Spencer is dead. 

This is...unexpected and heartbreaking.

I come seeking any and all fans of The West Wing:

There is a new (or at least, relatively so) role-playing game on LiveJournal that currently finds itself in great need of characters/participants.

1600_penn is a group based upon The West Wing. As its creator, the great-and-wonderful megd says, "It's a fledgeling West Wing RPG focused currently on the familial relationships but with intentions of doing the political stuff as well."

We really need more participants and there are still many of the main players still available. In fact, the following characters are still in need of players: Leo McGarry, Toby Ziegler, Sam Seaborn, CJ Cregg, Donna Moss, Charlie Young, Andrea Wyatt, Kate Harper, Will Bailey, Ainsley Hayes, Ellie Bartlet, Joey Lucas, Ron Butterfield, Matt Santos, Arnold Vinick. Of course, there are a number of other characters not mentioned in this list, and most of them are also available.

Please consider participating in this RPG--it's really a lot of fun and we're a friendly and welcoming group. The group is fairly laid back and people are eager to have a good time and play around with our favorite characters from the show.
